Dr. Terry Fulmer visits UCSF to share her work in Interprofessional Education

On Monday, June 2, 2014, Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN visited UCSF shared her knowledge and expertise with the UCSF community on the importance of Interprofessional education & team based care.  Dr. Fulmer, Dean of Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, Vice-Chair of the board of the New York Academy of Medicine, board member of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, & the 1st Nurse President of the American Geriatrics Society. 

In addition to her lecture, Dr. Fulmer met with School of Nursing faculty and development office adminstration to discuss creative and effective ways to engage in philanthropy to benfit School of Nursing.  Best practice tips were shared and faculty came away with a better understanding and appreciation of their role in fundraising.
